The comprehensive Strong Families program at AWC builds thriving families!

Through an evidenced-based combination of group workshops and 1-on-1 classes, plus the mentorship of a dedicated advocate, our program empowers families to flourish.

Our curriculum is taught by medical professionals, trained educators, and industry experts, so you can trust that your family is in capable hands every step of the way.

The Strong Families program is available at no cost to you and lasts through your baby’s 1st birthday, when you’ll join decades of program graduates as confident, knowledgeable, and empowered Strong Families alumni.

Parents have the power to shape their children’s futures

As part of the Strong Families program at A Woman’s Concern, parents build and strengthen their:

Our Strong Families parenting education program helps to answer many of the questions you may have about pregnancy, newborn care, and parenting skills. Through regular classes, you’ll learn important information about your pregnancy and your baby.

The Strong Families program is for anyone who is pregnant or parenting a child under one year of age.

By attending classes and participating in other ways, you will earn “points” which can be redeemed for items in our Baby Boutique, including things like:

Our client advocates are also available to help connect you with other local resources such as education & employment services, financial assistance, housing, and social services.
