A Woman's Concern

Fatherhood

Strong fathers help build stronger families!

Our Courageous Dads program is a chance for you to be a better dad and better co-parent for your child. But when you join the program, you’ll quickly get other benefits right in your hands!

When you attend scheduled Men’s Nights or group classes, or when you and a Courageous Dads coach meet for individual mentoring, you’ll earn points toward rewards.

And the ultimate reward?

Studies show that when fathers are engaged and involved with their families, their children learn more, perform better in school, and exhibit healthier behavior long-term!

Join us as we support each other and seek to create a community of Courageous Dads and Stronger Families.

Courageous Dads

Men’s Night (Monthly)

Men's Night is a time for fathers, fathers-to-be, and father figures to enjoy a meal (pizza!) and connect with one another and educators.

It's a time to relax from your busy day and build relationships with other dads as you learn from each other.

Men’s Nights are held monthly on the third Thursday at 6pm in our Hope House (the carriage house located behind our main building).

Courageous Dads

Group Classes (2x per month)

Develop the awareness and skills you need to be a good parent and partner! These classes provide you with skills to understand yourself better, help you to communicate more effectively with the mother of your children, and, not only help you understand your role in raising children, but will also give you practical strategies for incorporating what you've learned into your life.

Group Classes meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 10am or 6pm.

Courageous Dads

Mentoring (Individual Basis)

Meet one-on-one with a Courageous Dads coach, who will help you with your immediate concerns and plan ahead for classes that may be helpful in the future.

Did you know?

We have dozens of classes for dads and dads-to-be in our Strong Families Parenting Education Program. Check out the full list of scheduled group classes here and talk to your advocate about other classes you can take with or without your child’s mother.
